Puppetting is free on request, only if the art is separated before hand (example)

In terms of art, I accept both full illustrations (sprite + bg) or sprite only.

For full illustrations, please try and get the artist to separate all elements in different layers if possible. This means separating the character sprite from the background, as well as other elements in the background (such as spotlights, dust particles, etc). Also providing me with a separate lineart layer of the sprite is appreciated, though not necessary.

For both full illustrations and sprites, please ensure that parts of the sprite (ie. head, limbs, hair) are not cropped off from the frame, as this greatly limits my capabilities. Clay's twitter thread here best explains how this can be limiting for animators.

While my videos are delivered in 1920x1080, typically having art of a greater size would allow me to do close-up shots of art without a severe decrease in quality (pixelated, muddy look). Please consider asking for art in bigger dimensions (2880x1620 or 3840x2160 is ideal for me for full illust, but separate sprite can also work in similar dimensions)

This may more be towards clients who also draw/provide the art themselves, but clipping masks in PSD become very different in AE files. As such, try to avoid them as much as possible. This thread here summarizes the differences.

I define commercial use as gaining direct profits from the product I produced, such as ad monetization and superchats.

Example: Commercial use charges is applied for videos that are monetized on Youtube.

If I find that you have used my services for commercial use without the appropriate charge, you may be liable for a fine of up to +100% of the initial quote, as well as a ban from future services.

Commercial fees can be negotiable, depending on the scale and usage from the client. Please contact me for further negotiation if needed.

Videos will be rendered in 1920x1080 format, 1080p and 24 fps, and a thumbnail will be provided on request.

All prices in USD, and I can only take Paypal or Stripe at the moment. Payment can be done fully upfront, or paying 50% as deposit first.

Commercial use is +20% of the total price and will be prioritized over non-commercial projects.

Rush fees may carry an additional charge of 50-100% the base price depending on the deadline and complexity. I will accept rush deadlines for projects up to a week before deadline depending on the scope of the project and whether all assets are provided upfront.

Non-commercial commissions without a hard deadline may be subject to delays of up to 3 weeks from the usual turnaround time. For non-commercial projects with hard deadlines where assets are provided in advance, a 10% fee can be charged to ensure the deadline is met.

All assets (art, mix and lyrics doc) must be ready and submitted when you contact me (I will allow at least timed mix/art placeholders depending on circumstances)

With regards to placeholders, the final version of assets must be delivered at least 2 weeks before the deadline of the video. If not delivered in time, a 10% charge will be incurred.

Regarding Revisions: During the commission process, I will periodically send small snippets of the video to show my progress and ask for feedback. Throughout this period, you are allowed to send revision feedbacks. However, if there is more than 3 major revisions (such as redoing compositions completely or changing camera movements/typography), I am allowed to charge an extra 10% for each additional revision request. Thereafter, you are allowed one revision for the final render, except for any personal render issues that may occur (eg. wrong lyrics, glitches, etc).

A 10% discount is available for clients who do not wish to request for any revisions throughout the process of the commission, barring personal render issues that may occur (eg. wrong lyrics, glitches, etc). This must be agreed upon before the payment is made and afterwhich, any request for revisions (barring personal render issues) will be charged 50% per revision request. I consider deposit payments as "the payment being made" in this scenario.

I must be credited as the animator along with my Youtube and Twitter accounts

I reserve the right to decline any commission

None of my videos must be involved in NFTs or cryptocurrency in any way, shape or form. I will also decline to accept any commission requests which involves the use of AI-generated art/assets. I do not allow any of my works to be trained in any form of AI art/video generators.

Note: Prices are ultimately subject to final quote changes based on the complexity of the song, I will let you know the final base pricing after I've taken a look at the scope of your project and the assets!

A document containing translation, original lyrics and romaji must be provided. A non-machine translation is required, as I do not like to reference machine translations.

I reserve the right to use the translyrics that I have been commissioned to write. Similarly, my translyrics are free for other singers to use with proper credit
